Recently the Ohio State Board of Education awarded Salt Creek Intermediate School the 2016 Momentum Award. This award recognizes schools that have received A's on every value-added measure on the Ohio State Report Card. This means our pupils made greater than expected progress in reading and mathematics. Congratulations to our students for all their hard work and special thanks to our parents, teachers and support staff for believing every child can succeed academically and for making sure every child does.
The school newspaper staff has been hard at work this year covering the news and happenings around Salt Creek. Here are links to the newspapers published this year:
Recently, several Logan Elm students participated in the “Roundtown Players” production of “Richie III,” a children’s play based on Shakespeare’s “Richard III.” The actors from Salt Creek were Sam Braun, Owen Braun and Sammantha Mayhugh. The other Logan Elm students were Synthia Mayhugh, Lyric Hoops, Julia Weller, Jared Payne, Carrie Love, Donnie Love, Blaze Stickley, and Tatum Tatman. The production was a great success!
